Urocare Hospital was established with a single conviction: that the Gondia, Balaghat, and Gadchiroli region deserved a dedicated urology facility — not a general hospital with a visiting urologist, but a purpose-built facility with the infrastructure, the technology, and the in-house specialist team to handle everything from routine endourology to complex laparoscopic cancer surgery.
Dr. Amit Ilamkar trained at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. He worked there. He saw what the best looked like. And when he came home to Gondia, he built Urocare to match that standard — not at a metropolitan scale, but at a metropolitan level of care.

The most advanced laser system in its category currently available in this region. Enables treatment of kidney stones of all sizes, prostate enlargement, bladder tumours, and urethral strictures — through natural body openings, with no external incision.
ICU — Directly Attached to the OT
The ICU at Urocare is physically adjacent to the operating theatre. Dr. Dhanshree oversees both as Intensivist. Any patient requiring critical care is escalated immediately — no transport delay, no waiting.

Recovery Room in OT Complex
Every patient recovers in a dedicated post-operative space within the OT complex, under direct nursing and anaesthetic supervision, before being transferred to the ward.
Daycare Surgery Unit
For simpler procedures — circumcision, hydrocele, DJ stenting, cystoscopy — Urocare's daycare unit allows patients to arrive, be treated, and return home the same day without hospital admission.
Private Single-Occupancy Deluxe Rooms
Fully equipped single-occupancy deluxe rooms with attached facilities and relative accommodation for patients who prefer or require privacy during their stay.
CAPD / Peritoneal Dialysis
Urocare offers Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) and catheter services for patients with chronic kidney disease requiring regular dialysis support.

Patients travel to us regularly from Gondia district, Balaghat district, and Gadchiroli district — where no dedicated urosurgeon is currently available. Patients also come from Tiroda, Tumsar, Anjor Morgaon, and rural areas of both Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
If you can reach Gondia, you can access the same standard of urological care that was previously only available in Nagpur or Mumbai.
